As the name suggests Yoga Therapy is the therapeutic application of yoga to assist with a range of physical, emotional and mental health concerns. Yoga Therapy is a holistic form of healing which utilises the entire spectrum of Yoga practices and the wisdom of Ayurveda to effect health and healing on an individual basis. Rather than only treating the specific health concern, yoga Therapy considers the whole person who they are and how they are affected.
While yoga in general can be considered a therapeutic practice, the very nature of a group class is more directed to the group as a whole and may not be suitable for those presenting specific injuries or health concerns rather than the individuals needs.

The session includes the use of Yogic principals and tools such as breath, sound/mantra , specific movements, meditation and mindfulness to assist you with achieving your goals.
