Leading Ayurvedic Practitioner Scott Allan, along with his wife Kim Allan – Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Therapist, are the founders and owner-operators of The Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy Clinic.
Scott and Kim are highly skilled in treating a wide range of medical conditions, chronic health conditions with ayurvedic medicine and treatments. Together, with 30 years combined experience, they provide a professional, calming, and nurturing environment for ayurvedic healing of all levels – mind, body, and spirit.

Scott Allan – Ayurvedic Practitioner
Scott is a highly skilled Ayurvedic Practitioner with 14 years of clinical experience.
Scott began studying Ayurveda in 2006 and completed his Ayurvedic Clinical Diet and Lifestyle Consultants course with Dr Ajit of the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies. Scott went on to complete his Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda with Dr Ajit of the AIAS. He also holds a Diploma in Western Herbal medicine and has studied other modalities such as nutrition and iridology. As an experienced long-term student of Dr Ajit’s from AIAS Scott is an inspiration to others and sought after in providing an Authentic Ayurvedic approach. With diversity in treating a range of health complaints, this draws interest from interstate and local seeking his advice.
Scott has helped his clients overcome a number of health conditions over the years, ranging from Hepatitis C, eczema, psoriasis, High blood pressure, digestive disorders, support for cancer patients, weight loss, depression, anxiety, womens health concerns, arthritis, back, neck and shoulder problems and many more.
Scott also assists families with improving the health of their young children and infants.
Scott’s clients are guided on their path to health with a high level of care and support.
Scott has also completed a diploma in Svastha Yoga teaching and studied Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras (classical yoga as taught by Sri Krishnamacharya) with Giles Hooper and Vina Shah of Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda Australia.
Scott is currently continuing his professional development studying western medical science.
Kim Allan – Senior Registered Svastha Yoga Teacher, Registered Certified Yoga Therapist, Ayurvedic Consultant
Kim has been practicing yoga for many years and has been teaching for over 15 years. She is a certified Svastha Yoga teacher and certified Registered Yoga Therapist. Kim is also a senior registered teacher with Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance.
Kim conducts small Yoga Therapy group classes and private yoga sessions in a nurturing, supported environment where you have the space to grow in your practice as an individual. You will be guided during your time with Kim with clear direction and logical understanding on the practice of a Traditional and Authentic Yoga practice.
Kim began the first of her trainings with Yoga Arts in 2003 and 2005. At that time Kim was following a Astanga Yoga practice which led her to continue her learning in Mysore India to practice with R. Sarath Jois Grandson of Pattabhi Jois.
Looking to deepen her understanding of Yoga as a wholistic practice Kim was fortunate to meet Vina Shah director of Svastha Yoga Australia. In 2011 Kim began her training with Vina and completed her diploma in Svastha Yoga teaching training.
Kim has a Diploma in Svastha Yoga Therapy after successfully completing the course conducted over three and half years with Dr Ganesh Mohan of Svastha Yoga Ayurveda. He is a physician trained in both conventional medicine and Ayurveda. Kim has also studied with AG Mohan and Indra Mohan, the founders of Svastha Yoga, on topics such as Pranayama and Yogic Mindfulness.
Kim is also a Certified Ayurvedic Consultant and works at the Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy Clinic as a Ayurvedic Therapist assisting Scott with Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs.
Kim is passionate about keeping the traditional and authentic practices of yoga alive and brings this into her teaching in both her personalised Yoga Therapy sessions and general and yoga therapy classes.
