Leading Ayurvedic Practitioner Scott Allan, along with his wife Kim Allan are the founders and owner-operators of The Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy Clinic, the only of its kind on the Sunshine Coast and Australia.

Scott and Kim are highly skilled in treating a wide range of medical conditions, chronic health conditions with ayurvedic medicine and treatments. Together, with 30 years combined experience, they provide a professional, calming, and nurturing environment for ayurvedic healing of all levels – mind, body, and spirit.

As specialists in the field of Ayurvedic consultations, Ayurvedic treatment programs and yoga therapy, Scott and Kim are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals towards better health and well-being.

Scott Allan – Ayurvedic Practitioner

Scott Allan Served as the former president of the International Council of Ayurvedic Medicine (ICAM) and played a pivotal role in advancing the safe and ethical practices of Ayurveda in Australia. Working closely with CEO Dr Ajit and Richard Clarke, he was instrumental in establishing ethical clinical practice procedures and creating professional development opportunities for practitioners, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards in Ayurvedic healthcare.

As a highly accomplished Ayurvedic Practitioner with 17 years clinical experience, Scott has built a reputation for his unwavering dedication to education and excellence.

Beginning his journey in Ayurveda in 2006, he completed the Ayurvedic clinical diet and lifestyle consultant course and the Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda under the mentorship of Dr Ajit at the AIAS. These achievements, combined with a Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine and studies in nutrition and iridology, underscore his diverse, rigorous education foundation.

As a long-term and deeply committed student of Ayurveda, Scott exemplifies a high standard of learning and professional integrity, inspiring others in the field of Ayurveda. Known for his authentic Ayurvedic approach, he addresses a wide range of health conditions with precision and care, including hepatitis C, eczema, psoriasis, high blood pressure, digestive disorders, support for cancer patients, weight loss, depression, anxiety, women’s health concerns, arthritis, and musculoskeletal issues. His reputation for excellence attracts clients locally and interstate, seeking his expert guidance.

Scott also brings a specialized focus to family health, supporting parents in improving the well-being of their young children and infants. His clients benefit from a uniquely integrative approach, grounded in evidence-based practices and delivered with the highest level of care and support.

In addition to his Ayurvedic qualifications, Scott holds a Diploma in Svastha Yoga teaching and has deeply studied Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras (classical yoga as taught by Sri Krishnamacharya). Currently pursuing advanced studies in Western medical science, Scott demonstrates an enduring commitment to professional development, ensuring his knowledge and skills remain at the forefront of integrative healthcare.

Kim Allan – Senior Registered Svastha Yoga Teacher, Registered Certified Yoga Therapist, Ayurvedic Consultant

Kim has been practicing yoga since her school years and teaching for over 18 years, embodying a lifelong dedication to preserving and sharing the most traditional forms of Yoga. She is a registered Senior Yoga Teacher and a certified Registered Yoga Therapist, holding senior accreditation with both Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance.
Kim’s training is rooted in the classical tradition, having studied one-on-one with her teacher to learn the true essence of Yoga. This personalized and traditional method of teaching, which is rarely practiced in today’s modern Yoga education, allowed her to absorb the deeper philosophy and practices of Yoga in a way that is increasingly uncommon. This unique background has equipped her to teach and apply Yoga in its most authentic and impactful form. She continues to enhance her expertise through professional development in Exercise Science, ensuring her approach remains comprehensive, analytical and well versed in clinical observational techniques in regards to body posture and musculoskeletal disorders makes for a well rounded intergrative approach guiding her patients from rehabilitation to pain free health.

Kim conducts private Yoga Therapy sessions and group classes, using her extensive studies and personal skill set to assist individuals in improving their health. Her expertise ranges from addressing back pain, reducing stress, and supporting the elderly in enhancing their quality of life, to helping clients recover from injuries or surgeries through Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic treatments a truly effective and raley found method. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, Kim is highly skilled in delivering Ayurvedic therapies and treatments. She is co-owner of the Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy Clinic, the only Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic clinic in Australia alongside Scott Allan, assisting with Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs.
Kim is passionate about empowering her clients and students to lead healthy, happy, and independent lives, particularly into their later years.
