Build Resilience to Stress and Anxiety with Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy 2hr Workshop

Join Scott and Kim Allan for this 2hr workshop on how to build resilience to stress and anxiety.  Kim and Scott have been working with clients to improve mental health through the years with great success using these Ancient traditional modalities and their unique approach. This workshop will be held at the Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda Wellness Centre in Buderim and via zoom. Due to limited numbers bookings are essential.

Many of us encounter stress and anxiety of some form in our lives. It is when we feel that stress and anxiety starts to effect our daily lives and inhibit us in living a normal life that it starts to become a problem for us.

This workshop will give you an understanding informed by modern science and research findings, while remaining rooted in traditional yoga and Ayurveda, how you can better manage and build coping mechanisms towards stress and anxiety and gain an understanding of why these natural physiological responses can go from being minor to something that negatively  effects our lives.

Scott Allan Ayurvedic Practitioner with 13yrs clinical experience will discuss the Ayurvedic approach and understanding of Stress and Anxiety,  ways to strengthen and stabilise the nervous tissue/system, how these responses effect us over a long period of time on a physiological and mental level and how to better manage our own health and wellbeing.

Kim Allan a certified Yoga Therapist and Senior registered Svastha Yoga Teacher with over 15yrs teaching experience will talk about the benefits of Yoga Therapy and guide us through a  practice based around easing stress and anxiety.  Much research has been done of late on the benefits of the breath and in particular breathing in an efficient way to stimulate parasympathetic and vagal response in the body. The breath is not only a highly effective tool for assisting with stress management but also brings with it many other health benefits for body and mind which will be covered in this discussion.




Scott offers Ayurvedic Health Consultations, Ayurvedic detox and rejuvenation programs and Traditional Ayurvedic treatments/therapies at the centre.

Kim teaches small group yoga for wellbeing classes , Therapeutic Yoga classes and private sessions at the Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda centre. She also works as an Ayurvedic Therapist at the centre assisting Scott with all the treatments and therapies for their clients.
